2022 Le Petit Elevage Pinot Noir - Sonoma Coast - 6 Pack

We will be allocating library wines as special offerings while we explore each of our terroir focused vineyard designates on a monthly basis. As well, Quest Specials will be available for members this month.
We, as always, want it ALL in our wines. Humberto and I were aiming for a bone dry Rosé with elegance and nuance, lively and refreshing - but what if we could balance this with a bit more opulence and texture? Our Rosé came from the un-pressed free run of Pinot Noir, evidenced by its very pale color and extremely lively floral notes. This in contrast to the more common tank "saigneé" method which produces a little darker but more clumsy rosés (in our opinion). We then fermented and ultimately aged the wine through July on its yeast lees - enhancing the texture and mouth feel along the way - finally bottling in early August. This a marked contrast to most in the market typically going to bottle at least 6 months earlier.
