You may have noticed something quite different about the labels on our newest releases! In celebration of our 25th anniversary, and in memorial to Jim Hubert, we have enlarged the art to showcase it even better on our labels. We have also put a spotlight on the woman carrying an amphora of wine on her head from the “Dionysus in the Harbor” painting featured on our Carneros Pinot Noir bottles. She has long been a big part of our logo, so we introduce her to you as Imara. Her name means “stamina and strength” and is closely related to the ancient Greek for “eternally beautiful.” Ken creates the wines of Ancien to display both beauty and strength – resulting in a uniquely luxurious Pinot Noir line up!
